On the 4th of January 2020 we held our first 4-aside canoe polo tournament in memory of our late founder, Peter Mitchell MBE.
The Peter Mitchell 4-aside Youth & Open Canoe Polo Tournament took place at Queens Leisure Centre in Derby. This was a day event including 5 teams per category from across the United Kingdom.
In the Open category, Liverpool Canoe Polo And Kayak Club-Friends of Allonby came out on top winning 3 of 4 games, drawing on 1.
Viking Canoe Polo came in second winning 2 out of 4, drawing 1, losing 1.
Third went to Kingston Kayak Club, fourth was Bridgend Canoe Club and finally, East End Canoe Polo came in fifth.
In the Youth category, Kingston Kayak Club finished at the top of the table, winning 4 out of 4 games.
Liverpool Canoe Polo And Kayak Club-Friends of Allonby came in second, winning 3 out of 4, losing 1.
Third was Bridgend Canoe Club, fourth went to Viking Canoe Polo and finally, Pennine Canoe & Rowing Club – PCRC placed fifth.
