On Monday the 17th of April, Peter Mitchell MBE, Chris Underwood and Tom Elliott attended the Derby County home game against Huddersfield Town on behalf of Viking Canoe Polo.
The club was invited to the Derby County game to receive a donation from the Derby County Former Players’ Association. The cheque was presented by Roy McFarland during a short presentation on the pitch, prior to kick-off.
This donation is gratefully received by all members of the club who are all thankful to the Former Players’ Association at Derby County. The money received will be used to help recruit new youth members to the club, upgrade club kit and contribute massively towards the clubs and members’ progression.
