Following discussion in this year’s Annual General Meeting, Viking Memberships will now run from April to March & also follow a new price structure. Along with our usual Adult & Youth Memberships, we will now have the NEW Student Membership & Pay-as-you-go options.
With all of these options, if you are new to Viking, our trial policy for your first 3 Viking Training Sessions not requiring Membership still applies.
Adult Membership
Our Adult Membership price is changing to £50 for the Membership year. This is suitable for Players aged 18+ who are not in full-time education.
Youth Membership (Under 18)
Our Youth Membership price remains unchanged from last year at £30 for the Membership year. You must be under 18 at the time of paying to get the Youth Membership.
NEW Student Membership
Our new Membership type is for Students to Train & Compete with Viking at a cheaper rate than our Adult Membership. The Student Membership Price is £40 for the Membership year. This will be for Players aged 18+ who are no longer eligible to get the Viking Youth Membership but are still in full-time education.
NEW Pay-as-you-go
If you do not wish to pay for a Viking Membership as you are new to Canoe Polo or will not be able to attend enough sessions for the Membership price to make sense for you, then we will now offer a new Pay-as-you-go fee to all of our Sessions as an alternative option. This will be a £2.50 additional cost to any Training Session or club-organised activity you attend. For example: a Beginner Session at Moorways will be £10.50 & an Intermediate/Advanced Session will become £12.50 with the Pay-as-you-go price. This fee will also apply when attending Viking’s River Sessions. This fee will start for every Viking Training Session you attend after your first 3.
Viking Membership Types
When joining Viking from October in the Membership year, all 3 Membership prices will be half price until you renew in the April.
